Breakdancing has taught me to be a little less fearful of life. After balancing on your head everything else doesn't seem so bad anymore.
As you get older, you will meet a lot of people that say they used to be a great breakdancing when they were younger. The best thing to do is smile and nod along. Sometimes they are for real, other times, I think they're just trying to make conversation.
Sometimes when I spin on my head, I feel like some of my intelligence is falling out of ears. But five minutes later, I get over that and go back to spinning. Sometimes you get so dizzy that you start seeing stuff that isn't there and couldn't be real. Like in that "Days Go By" music video, he was dancing so hard trying to recapture the girl that he had lost, that in his mind, he did win her back through his dancing. You can tell it's all an illusion because she's dressed the same way as he remembered her, while he's dressed in his current business attire. Which is sort of the same way people like watching teen movies because it helps them remember a happier time in their lives (high school) that seems way better than what they are currently going though.
